More than 50,000 Collin County Children have limited access to healthcare as a result of being uninsured or underinsured.

In 2007 there were reportedly 30,724 uninsured children in Collin County.

Uninsured children are 10 times more likely to have an                      unmet health care need than insured children. 

Recent Development:  Despite these statistics the Commissioners of Collin County chose to leave uninsured children in Frisco, Prosper, Little Elm, and Celina behind and eliminate funding for Frisco Cares Children's Clinic.  Now more than ever the uninsured children in our community need your help.  The City of Frisco and private businesses such as Best Buy comprehend the importance of supporting the Clinic.  The elected officials of Collin County may not believe that the uninsured children of Frisco need healthcare but we are confident that the community realizes that it is the right thing to do.

Frisco Cares Children's Clinic serves the uninsured children in our community to help eradicate these unfortunate statistics because every child deserves to have access to affordable quality healthcare.  Our Mission is to provide quality acute healthcare to uninsured children ages 18 and under residing in or attending school in Frisco, Celina, Prosper, and Little Elm.
